I was really intrigued by this book, because I love anything to do with music, and this was a concept I'd never heard of before. However, I didn't end up enjoying it as much as I thought I would. For me, it wasn't panned out well enough, and I felt that too many secondary characters were introduced throughout the story and were never properly fleshed out or made real. I had heard good things abut the author, so going into this book I had decent expectations, and sadly I was left disappointed at the end.
