I didn't really know what this book was about before I started it, which I liked. This Raging Light had a lot more depth and substance to it than what I expected from the cover, which was a nice surprise. For the entirety of the book I just felt so sorry for Lucille and her sister, because they didn't deserve to be in that situation. Having to look after your sister like your own is heartbreaking to read about, and Lucille was overall a great girl. The writing in this book was good and I'd love to read more from Estelle.

I requested this book because I was so intrigued by the fact that it's set in Paris and I LOVED reading about it! That was probably my favourite part of the book, getting to read all about the shops and just life there. I was also really proud of myself for understanding most of what they were saying when they spoke in French! Normally I don't really like Mystery/Thriller books but I didn't mind it in For Holly. I loved all the family drama; it made me feel like I was reading Gossip Girl or something. Really enjoyed!

I really liked how fast-paced this book was, because I do get in the mood for reading books full of action sometimes. I whizzed through this book, because there was always something happening. I liked the mystery part of this book, which isn't something I normally enjoy too much. However, the romance was basically non-existent and it was disappointing. I also did get confused at times and I didn't really connect to any of the characters. Most of the time I was being jealous about them living in central London.
