Top Ten New Autumn TV Shows I Want To Watch


Hi everyone! Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday, which is hosted over at The Broke and The Bookish. This week's topic is Top Ten New Autumn TV Shows I Want To Watch.

It has taken all of my restraint to not binge all of this already, as it's just come out on Sky Atlantic, because it just looks so good.

2. Atlanta

I love Donald Glover when he's acting, and I equally love him performing as Childish Gambino, so I'm very excited about this.


I've just finished watching Jessica Jones in the last couple of days, and I can already feel myself needing that Marvel fix pretty soon.


At the moment I'm on season 6 of Gilmore Girls and I cannot get enough of it so obviously I can't wait for this.

5. Pitch

I love watching films and TV shows about sports, and this has intrigued me since I first heard about it.


To be honest, I don't really know what this is about, but there are so many good actors and actresses in this that I think it's worth checking out.


I love Historical Fiction, and this looks so good, especially with Matt Smith.


This sounds so unique, and the fact it's written by the writers of Brooklyn Nine-Nine has me interested.


I don't even think this has an iMDb page yet but it just sounds so fascinating.

10. Easy

This has such a star-studded cast and it sounds like something different.

January 2024 Mini Reviews - part 3

Real Easy   by Marie Rutkoski Published: 18th January 2022 by Tinder Press I received a copy of this e-book from the publisher via NetGalley. This in no way affects my review. This felt like a real departure from what Rutkoski is known for writing - the popular YA Fantasy series The Winner's Trilogy  - but this venture into Adult Fiction was gripping, and shows her range throughout ages and genres. I feel as though the whole "strippers being murdered" storyline is one that can be done badly very easily, but Rutkoski puts the stories of the strippers at the forefront of the novel, allowing their lives the be the focus, and ultimately the heart of the story, rather than the killer or the detectives investigating the crimes. The sisterhood borne out of circumstance seen between the women in Real Easy , including the female detective, felt very authentic, in loving but not necessarily liking one another, but always protecting their kin.
