Top Ten Authors I Own the Most Books From

Hi everyone! Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday, which is hosted over at The Broke and The Bookish. This week's topic is Top Ten Authors I Own the Most Books From.

1. Richelle Mead: 10 books

I own the most books from Richelle Mead, and that's not a surprise to me! I have read the complete Vampire Academy series, and they were so good. I am in love with her writing style, so I just breeze through her books.

2. Matsuri Hino: 10 books

This is the only author on this list that doesn't write general fiction. If you didn't know, Matsuri Hino is a manga author, and I absolutely adore her series Vampire Knight. Even though I own 10 of her books, I am nowhere near finishing the series!

3. Cassandra Clare: 9 books

Cassandra comes as a close second (as #1 and 2 are joint), but I actually expected her to be first. Both me and my mum are massive fans of hers, and have all the books in both The Mortal Instruments series and The Infernal Devices trilogy.

4. Rachel Caine: 8 books

I have been reading Rachel Caine's Morganville Vampires series for a very long time. I own the first 8 books but have only read the first 6, unfortunately.

5. Maggie Stiefvater: 7 books

I have been a fan of Maggie's for years and have had the pleasure of reading some part of all of her series, whether I have finished them, or have only read the first book.

6. J.K. Rowling: 7 books

J.K. is actually tied 4th place with Maggie Stiefvater, which seems fair as they are both 2 of my all-time favourite authors. I have read the Harry Potter books all throughout my childhood, and they were certainly a key part of it. I honestly wouldn't be the person I am today without J.K. and the Harry Potter books, so obviously I have all of the series!

7. Stephenie Meyer: 6 books

I owe a lot to Stephenie Meyer, because although her books have been criticised by many people, my love for YA books started with Twilight, way back when. I wouldn't be writing this post right now, let alone have this blog, if it wasn't for my passion for reading, and a big part of that came from reading Twilight.

8. John Green: 6 books

The Fault In Our Stars is one of my all-time favourite books and a big reason is due to John's writing and how he manages to capture your attention effortlessly. Unfortunately I haven't been able to read any of his other books yet, but that will definitely change soon!

9. Melissa de la Cruz: 4 books

After I heard that people found the Blue Bloods series to be similar to Gossip Girl, I immediately snatched the first one up. Since then I've bought a couple more and I plan on reading and reviewing them soon!

10. Philip Pullman: 4 books

I have read (and struggled to read) the His Dark Materials trilogy throughout my whole childhood, and I am finally making my way through them. i also own an old favourite of mine called The Broken Bridge, which deals with racism and first introduced me to it really, when I was a kid.

So there we go! I hope you've enjoyed reading about my Top Ten Authors I Own the Most Books From.
