When this was originally started on Wattpad, I read it and loved it, so of course I requested it on NetGalley. I am pleased for Ali that she got a publishing deal for this book, as it is cute, but sadly there isn't much more to it. The plot was predictable, and while I liked all the characters, none of them were that interesting. I did enjoy the whole music/band storyline and it was nice to read it again because it had been a while, but it wasn't anything special, sadly.

 I'd heard mixed things about Camden's Tape, so I was wary about this going in to it, but I was pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed the general premise, of a romance formed due to a film studies class at sixth-form because it seemed like something I could easily visualise, and I did really like how realistic it was, how something similar has probably happened many times. I enjoyed reading from Luke's POV, and how he didn't have the best background. A good book.

I really wanted to like this book. The cover is beautiful and I've really been loving historical fiction lately, so I gave this book quite high expectations, which may have been wrong from me. However, this doesn't excuse quite how bad this book unfortunately was. My main complaint is just how boring this book was; literally nothing happened, and everything felt forced. This was disappointing.

Savour It   by Tarah DeWitt Published: 21st May 2024 by Piatkus I received a copy of this e-book from the publisher via NetGalley. This in no way affects my review. I had heard of Tarah and some of her books before this latest one, and knew she was highly regarded within the Romance world, and now I know why! I loved the small-town setting of this, as always, and how the whole town managed to meddle in their budding relationship, but only because they wanted the best for them! I really liked that Fisher was brought into Sage's life to help her from being embarrassed about the ending of her previous relationship, and how he helped to boost her confidence back up, while Sage helped bring Fisher down to earth and build up his own confidence in being a parent figure for the first time. This felt more emotional than your average romance novel, and I really enjoyed that aspect of it, as it felt authentic that Fisher and Sage's respective circumstances led to a strong connection and r...

I'm really not sure how I feel about this book - it almost feels as if completely split into two separate halves, with my wildly different levels of interest on either side. I was completely gripped in the beginning by the premise of this, and the whole enemies-to-lovers thing that Addie and Logan had going on, but I just didn't fully believe in the build-up to their romance, or much of anything that came after. The switch from hating each other to feeling anything more didn't convince me, and my interest seemed to slowly wane after the beginning of their relationship, when normally it would be at its peak. I didn't find the writing hugely compelling, but it wasn't bad at all! I think the pacing just felt off to me, and the characterisation of the primary and secondary people wasn't at its stronges...
