This book sucked me in straight away, thanks to the beautiful writing and the amazing Gottie. Right from the start I was rooting for her, hating Jason, loving Thomas. I also loved the family element - the household and the bookshop and her relationship with her dad and grandad just sounded wonderful. Such a cute, whimsical book. I am so sorry for the unannounced hiatus! It was obviously not planned, but I wasn't sure if I could keep up with the blog and my school work this year, it being my final GCSE year.
