Synopsis

My review
I felt apprehensive about this book as soon as I heard about, because I'm always a bit wary of companion novels. I've never found them to be as interesting to me as a sequel, and most of the time I just find them to be a waste.
Due to the nature of this book, I found it to be a really great refresher of the story, as it had been quite a while since I'd read Every Day. It also felt nice to be back in the world of Rhiannon and A.
I really hoped that this book would bring another element to the story I already knew and loved, but it really was just the same story told from Rhiannon's POV, and I got bored.
Despite this being another great book from Levithan, I just felt exasperated by the lack of progress in the story. I would've much preferred a sequel straight away rather than holding out for it while reading the whole story again from Rhiannon's point of view. The reason why my rating is as high as it is is because even though I don't like the book as a concept, Levithan's writing still manages to blow me away every time.
