My review

I was really excited to get to this one as the story of Daedalus and Icarus is one of my favourite Greek myths. Thus book did not disappoint at all and I honestly think it is my favourite of all 5.

The introduction of Rachel really added another element to the story and showed both Percy and Annabeth's growth as characters, having to face a challenge so different from their normal quests, and yet just as hard. 

I felt Riordan really wrote the complexity of the underground Labyrinth so well and all the different parts interested me. This book really brought back my enthusiasm for the series and made me look forward to the finale of the series.

My review

When it came to reading this book, I actually put it off for a while because I got sad thinking about finishing this series. It is just so entertaining and enjoyable and I'm honoured to have been able to go on this journey with Percy and Annabeth.

This wasn't my favourite Percy Jackson book, probably because of the LONG battle that took up most of the book, which just felt unnecessary. Also, the cliche unanswered questions that were left there so that people read Heroes of Olympus. However for the most part it wasn't bad. I did enjoy the coming-together of everyone to take down Kronos, despite their potential differences. 

This was a good way to end the series and wrap most things up, and I will pick up Riordan's other series sometime in the future.
