The Maze Runner by James Dashner My best friend told me that I have to read it, for 3 reasons. 1: It's an amazing book. 2: It's being turned into a film. 3: It has Dylan O'Brien in it (better known as my future husband.) 2. Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy I have a hard time reading classics as it is, but 813 pages of it? Never going to happen. I would love to read it, as I already know I enjoy the story, but this might just have to be one of those that I listen to instead. 2. City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare The first 3 books in this series are some of my all-time favourite books. However, I didn't enjoy the 4th one as much and apparently the last 3 books of the series are not as good as the first 3. I'm worried that I won't enjoy the world and the characters any more, which are things I fell in love with before. 3. A year ago, if you told me I would have a book blog and although not consistently, still post on it and keep it a part of my life, I would tell you you were crazy Even though books have been a massive part of my life since I was a child, I never thought I would take the next step and put my opinions out there for the world to see. Now I certainly haven't been the best blogger. I posted very inconsistently, sometimes leaving 2 months between my reviews. Having this blog has been a massive learning curve, from learning how to balance school, social life, family, and the blog, to simply running a website. I have met some great people because of this blog, and I have had the opportunity to read some truly amazing books before publication date, which is something I never thought I would say. My review First things first, out of the 4 main characters (apart from Leila) I have definitely written the most about Hudson. It's probably because he is essentially the love interest of this story. Twilight by Stephenie Meyer (Twilight #1) Now what would a list about YA Paranormal books be without Twilight? Although this book is one of those hit or miss ones, I still believe it deserves a spot on this list as it opened up my eyes to the world of Young Adult Paranormal. 2. City of Bones by Cassandra Clare (The Mortal Instruments #1) This series has a variety of paranormal creatures. From werewolves, to vampires, to fairies and warlocks. It is one of the many reasons why I love this series so much and why I think it is a good book to read to be introduced to many supernatural creatures. 3.
