Top Ten Historical Settings I Love

Hi everyone! Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday, which is hosted over at The Broke and The Bookish. This week's topic is Top Ten Historical Settings I Love.

1. 1920's New York

I just love the glitz and glamour of it all, but also the gangs and the violence. If I could go anywhere in time, it would be here.

2. 1950's England

After reading The Lost Art of Keeping Secrets I fell in love with this time period.

3. First/Second World War

For some unknown reason, I love reading books about war.

4. 1920's Shanghai

Despite not loving Ghosts of Shanghai, my favourite part was probably the setting, especially as I didn't expect it to be that interesting.

5. 1960's America

When I read Disappear Home, I loved the setting and all the hippies.

6. Salem Witch Trials

This time setting is equally scary as it is interesting for me.

7. Victorian London

This might be my other option if I had the choice to time travel somewhere, because I absolutely adore reading books set in this time.

8. China 1898

I fell in love with this time period while reading Boxers & Saints.

9. India 1910

India Dark is one of my favourite books that I never seem to talk about, and partly why I love it is because of where it's set.

10. London 1665

Reading all about apothecaries and apprentices is so much fun for me.

So there we go! I hope you've enjoyed reading about my Top Ten Historical Settings I Love.
