Top Ten Songs I Wish That Were Books

Hi everyone! Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday, which is hosted over at The Broke and The Bookish. This week's topic is Top Ten Songs I Wish That Were Books.

1. Wires - Athlete

This song makes me cry every time I listen to it, and I think that would be the same if it were in book form too.

2. Brooklyn Baby - Lana Del Ray

I feel like this song would make such a cool indie book.

3. Separate and Ever Deadly - The Last Shadow Puppets

If I could, every song on this album would be included on this list but I think this one in particular would work very well.

4. Paperback Writer - The Beatles

This song is about an aspiring writer, and would be perfect to read about.

5. Hourglass - Catfish and the Bottlemen

This song is all about someone missing the person they love, and I think if that idea was used as something to build on for a book, it would be great.

6. Love Me - The 1975

All the talk of fame in this song would make for an interesting book.

7. My Boy Builds Coffins - Florence + The Machine

This would make for such a creepy book.

8. Little Talks - Of Mice and Men

I would love to read about this relationship in a book.

9. Toothpaste Kisses - The Maccabees

The lyrics of this song are so cute, and I would love to read a cute contemporary like this too.

10. The Suburbs - Arcade Fire

This would be great to read as it follows someone through a long time period.

So there we go! I hope you've enjoyed reading about my Top Ten Songs I Wish That Were Books.
