Top Ten Books On My Fall To-Be-Read List

Hi everyone! Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday, which is hosted over at The Broke and The Bookish. This week's topic is Top Ten Books On My Fall To-Be-Read List.

1. Insurgent by Veronica Roth

I read Divergent back in May, and actually wrote a review too, so if you want to read that, it's right here. I really enjoyed it and want to start the sequel as soon as possible.

2. If I Stay by Gayle Forman

The film adaptation  of this is coming out frighteningly soon, and I really want to read it before I watch it, so I need to get round to it.

3. Half Bad by Sally Green

When Autumn comes around, I always think of it as the perfect time to read stories about witches.

4. The Subtle Knife by Philip Pullman

I read Northern Lights a while ago, and have been meaning to read The Subtle Knife ever since. I've heard it's quite short, so I'm hoping I'll whiz through it.

5. Belzhar by Meg Wolitzer

I have to admit, when I read the email saying I'd been approved for Belzhar, I did jump for joy a bit. I feel like it will be perfect to read in the colder months.

6. Etiquette and Espionage by Gail Carriger

I bought this book AGES ago, but have just never gotten round to it. Like with witches, I feel as though Steampunk novels are perfect to read in Autumn.

7. Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor

Now I don't really know what this one is about, but all I've heard is amazing praise for it, so I need to hurry up and read it soon!

8. Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë

I like to read a classic every once in a while, and this is my next choice. The whole synopsis seems very creepy and mysterious, perfect now it's getting colder.

9. Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo

The reason why this is on my list is the exact same as with Daughter of Smoke and Bone. I hope I understand why everyone loves it once I've read it!

10. Beastly by Alex Flinn

I've seen the film of this, and actually quite enjoyed it. However I didn't know it was a book until recently, which has made me really want to read it.

So there we go! I hope you've enjoyed reading about my Top Ten Books On My Fall To-Be-Read List.
