Top Ten New-To-Me Favourite Authors I Read For The First Time In 2015

Hi everyone! Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday, which is hosted over at The Broke and The Bookish. This week's topic is Top Ten New-To-Me Favourite Authors I Read For The First Time In 2015.

1. Holly Black

It actually surprises me that I only read a Holly Black book for the first time this year, but I'm glad that I have at all.

2. Holly Bourne

I enjoy supporting British YA authors, and Holly is a perfect example of that, especially because her book was so great.

3. Eva Rice

Although I'd never heard of her before, Eva Rice is quite a big deal in the world of books, considering she's published a good few novels, and I can see why.

4. Becky Albertalli

I'm so glad that I read her debut novel from this year so soon after it came out, because I am a devout supporter of her now.

5. David Arnold

The same goes for David too, even though their writing is quite different, and I'm so happy I jumped onto the bandwagon for him and his books.

6. Rainbow Rowell

I can't believe it took me so long to finally read one of Rainbow's novels! I guess I was intimidated by the hype she has, but now I'm going to make her books a priority on my TBR.

7. Gayle Forman

This is another author I'm quite ashamed to say I only started reading this year, but I don't plan on stopping.

8. Jenny Han

Jenny's been in the book business for quite a while, and I'm glad I decided to pick her book up, because now I'm a massive fan.

9. Victoria Aveyard

Red Queen did only come out this year, but she's on this list because already she is a favourite.

10. Rick Riordan

I'm so pleased that I decided to read the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, because at first I wasn't sure how much I would enjoy it, but I certainly did.

So there we go! I hope you've enjoyed reading about my Top Ten New-To-Me Favourite Authors I Read For The First Time In 2015.
